Job description The Role: This local luxury business services company is looking for a talented and professional Duty Manager to join their team in Manchester. What s in it for you as Duty Manager? A luxury working environment What will you be doing as Duty Manager? Assisting the General Manager in running the building to the highest possible standard Oversee Reception staff, ensuring they are receiving the right training and support, conduct reviews and 1-2-1s, manage the Reception Rota Dealing with customer queries or complaints efficiently and professionally Ensuring the building is maintained to the highest 5 standards Proactively form positive working relationships with customers, getting to know their business needs and requirements Assist with IT / Telecoms issues, keeping a record of any faults or defects and arranging repair as quickly as possible. Monitor housekeeping, making sure standards are kept high Deliver tours of the building to prospective customers What experience are we looking for in a Duty Manager? 2+ years experience delivering exceptional customer service Experience managing others, training others and supporting staff development Experience in helping to run a commercial building (for example a hotel, office, leisure facility etc), dealing with maintenance issues Excellent communication skills - this is essential. You must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing, with skill and professionalism Computer literate and able to solve basic IT / Telephony issues, and a willingness to learn any systems you re unfamiliar with. Well organised, with good time management Personal attributes required as a Duty Manager: A positive, friendly, outgoing personality Confident dealing with a range of people, from visitors to senior business management Skilled at multi-tasking and handing conflicting priorities Good negotiation skills, able to show tact and diplomacy A passion for 5 customer service A self-motivated problem solver Able to manage others If you are passionate about customer service and want to further your career within an exciting and dynamic organisation, then this Duty Manager role is for you.
