My amazing client is looking to recruit an experienced Finance Manager who has ideally worked in a construction business although this is not essential. The role is very varied and will include the following;
Role and Responsibilities:
Application for Payments including retention / discounts
Updating of cost control sheets (Excel)
Verifying Subcontractors, Processing CIS / Filing returns and payments for both suffered and deducted
VAT Returns including knowledge of DRV/DRC
Knowledge of foreign transactions / import VAT / VAT deferment
Weekly/Monthly Payroll in Xero including employee set up, status changes, expenses
Manage Pension submissions
Sales and Purchase Ledger Entry using Xero
Bank and credit card reconciliation
Strong written and verbal communication skills and a keen eye for detail
Knowledge of Xero Projects advantageous.
Construction Finance Background
