The Company: Our client is a family-owned private company. Founded over 60 years ago, the put their customers are the heart of what they do. They are an IT company (MSP) and they have accumulated a wealth of experience. With 20 staff they are based in South Bristol. The Job: Our client is seeking a Part Time Finance Manager, this will be taking over from the current person who has been with the business for 22 years and is retiring. Currently there is 1 person within the accounts and finance team, however under your supervision, this may grow. They have an accountants who support them but you will be responsible for the day to finance and payroll for their business. Within this role the responsibilities will include: Print Bank daily update Cash flow Post & allocated all Incoming Sales Cash Post all Direct Debits either to nominal or to Purchase Accounts Reconcile bank accounts Barclaycard reconcile to Exchequer Post Vat Return Raise Invoices Raise all Invoices Raise Maintenance Invoices monthly Raise all Credit notes Paying staff expenses Post all expense Invoices Raise all Intercompany Invoices Credit Control Post all Nominal Journals Sort out all queries on Exchequer Prepare Salaries Make all Nominal Payments on bank Purchase Ledger invoice entry Reconcile Control Accounts Check Purchase Invoices are posted to correct Nominal Check everything is Posted to Sales and Purchase Ledgers Investigate any irregularities on the MA Prepayments Fixed Assets/ Depreciation Reconcile the Intercompany acct Dealing with all Accounts Payable calls and emails Supplier payments - managing suppliers, lines of credit, credit applications, payment schedules Supplier payments for non-scheduled items/Purchase Orders where Cash-with-order terms Preparation of supplier payment schedule for Finance/admin meetings The Person: For this role our client is seeking someone who has previous experience as a Finance Manager. You will be able to manage the whole process and ideally grow this team to support the day to day finance and accounts tasks. The Salary: Negotiable c £35,000 pro-rata (please not salary is very flexible depending on experience and higher salary can be offered for fewer hours) The Hours: Around 22.5 hours week (however our client is VERY flexible when these can be done both working from the office and home) The Benefits: 24 days holiday + bank holiday (pro-rata) Christmas Close down Car Parking Healthcare Scheme Electric Charging Point Complete flexibility on working hours and location (need to be close to Bristol) The Location: South Bristol, Bristol
