Senior Training Manager, Audit Advisory, Professional Services, Accountancy, London Senior Training Manager required to work for a fast growing and exciting Professional Services business based in Central London. This is to join their Technical Standards Group to work within the Audit Advisory Team. The successful candidate will have responsibilities in relation to both the technical (subject matter expertise) and training (technique and delivery) aspects for allocated curriculums developed by the technical training team. The individual will report to the Director of Qualified Training, seeking input from others in TSG and the National Audit Training Hub to ensure that both technical and operational best practice is taken into account in the design and delivery of the training, as well as liaising with the Director of Early-in-Career training in respect of part-qualified hires. Responsibilities: Assist with update, delivery, management and post-course review for technical training courses. Develop learning materials for example: face to face and online learning Create case studies and APT workspaces to focus on practical application of the company audit methodology Identify and implement processes to ensure that learning is applied back in the workplace Evaluate the effectiveness of training interventions Prepare content for the pages of Audit Insite Assist the Audit Advisory team within TSG, through manning helplines (with support) and other ad hoc projects Continual update of the training programme to take into account the latest technical updates and regulatory findings that the firm needs to respond to Skills required: Ability to think innovatively and creatively, bringing new ideas to the lateral hire training process Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a small team and able to use own initiative Experience of training design, development and delivery High attention to detail Strong written and oral communication skills Strong problem solving skills Takes personal responsibility and accountability for own work Ability and willingness to challenge existing practices and influence more senior individuals and peers This is a great opportunity and salary is dependent upon experience.
