Job Description Cubed Talent are excited to be supporting our Client to recruit for a SHE Advisor to join their growing business, based in Huthwaite. Our Client is a leading supplier of engineering solutions, specialising in the bespoke design and construction of metal fabrications and the turnkey supply of physical water, energy, and environmental management installations. As a full electro-mechanical service provider, they can help to support almost any project. With this wide range of expertise, they work within UK water utilities, power companies, government agencies, and drainage boards with many appointing them as their preferred framework contractor. Additionally, they have worked with building companies, architects, machine builders, and other fabrications companies to achieve optimal solutions for a wide range of projects. As SHE Advisor, you will report to Managing Director. Job Function: Ensure compliance of business SHE strategy, continuous SHE improvement, drive initiatives to improve the SHE of the business Key Responsibilities: Management of all SHE processes, procedures and associated audits Develop a culture of Safety in Mind . Work with department heads (Senior Management Team) to ensure compliance. Resolve issues in relation to SHE requirements and management thereof. Ensure that all SHE policies and procedures are implemented and understood. Agree with SMT roll out of SHE strategies Manage, support and develop SHE team as appropriate Provide weekly and monthly data to meet KPI s, monitoring and reporting on trends to inform the business Any other duties assigned in line with the scope and seniority of the role (Keep as is) Other Responsibilities To understand and adhere to Company policies and procedures Comply with company Health and Safety policies, procedures and codes of practice Demonstrate and uphold Company values Knowledge, Education, Skills & Experience Essential At least 2 years experience Good communication skills and ability to make sound decisions on matters of SHE adherence/compliance Good negotiating and influencing skills to command professional respect at all levels. Highly competent in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Solution focused Ability to foster strong and collaborative working relationships at all levels Ability to process information accurately, quickly and logically. Ability to introduce new ideas and drive improvements with scope of the role Recognises the importance of a team ethos Willingness to undertake professional development, which may entail working in your time to achieve. Desirable Ideally a professional qualification in a subject relevant to the role e.g. IOSH/NEBOSH There will be a requirement to undertake site visits around the UK, with possible overnight stays.
