Northumberland County Council are currently looking for a Team Manager to lead their 14+ leaving care team on a full time basis, the role will be working with 14+ LAC young people, 16+ CIN young people as well as 16+ homeless C&F assessments. We require experience in managing social workers within a safeguarding setting, management experience that reflects your ability to lead, develop and support a team of social workers and leaving care support work staff. You should have experience of working with young people with a variety of needs and a proven ability to improve outcomes. The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues from partner agencies is a key skill for achieving success in this role. A modern and flexible working environment, have adopted the hybrid model of working and provide a central location based in Cramlington, agile working through the use of Office 365 and apps; which enables collaborative and streamlined working, strong and visible leadership from Snr Management and the autonomy to do your job. Be a qualified social worker with 2 years post-qualified experience. Be Social Work England registered.
