The University of Vienna (20 faculties and centres, 184 fields of study, approx. 10.400 members of staff, about 90.000 students) seeks to fill the position from 01.02.2023 of a University Assistant (post doc) at the Vienna Center for Experimental Economics Reference number: 13538 We are looking for a person with a strong interest in behavioral and experimental public economics and political economy. Fluency in German is required for this position. Duration of employment: 4 year/s Extent of Employment: 40.0 hours/week Job grading in accordance with collective bargaining agreement: 48 VwGr. B1 lit. b (postdoc) with relevant work experience determining the assignment to a particular salary grade. Job Description: The Vienna Center for Experimental Economics (VCEE) is a subunit of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Statistics and offers a vibrant and attractive academic environment in the heart of Vienna. The post doc is expected to do research in behavioral and experimental public economics and to participate in the Center's seminars and other research-related activities. The post doc is required to teach the course "Gründzüge der Finanzwissenschaft" (in German) in one term, while the teaching in the other term can be adapted to the interests of the post doc.
